Bayamo (Cuba), 1974. Studied journalism at the University of Havana. Has lived in the United States since 2008. Earned a PhD from Texas A&M University. Has contributed to magazines such as Hypermedia Magazine, among others. Currently lives in Houston, where she works as a Spanish teacher.
