Sergio Luis Pérez Hernán

Havana, 1980. He studied literature and also earned a degree in education. He is a professor, editor, essayist, and screenwriter for television. He was a professor of Latin American literature at the University of the Arts (ISA) and of Cuban literature for courses at the Alejo Carpentier Foundation. He has given lectures on film and television in Cuba, Panama, and Spain. He was editor of scientific journals at the University of Havana. His essays on literature and theater, as well as articles on language and the media, have been published in various journals and specialized websites. He has participated as a speaker at literary events and has received scholarships such as the “Razón de Ser” in 2015.
