Fray Erasmo de la Cruz

Renounced as an Oratorian of Saint Augustine, Friar Erasmo de la Cruz is the pseudonym of Ignacio T. Granados Herrera, who, following the Dominican vocation of begging and itinerancy, lives by cooking in the back stages of Miami. In 2005, he founded the label that marks this vocation, Ediciones Itinerantes Paradiso, in a cheap hotel where he was living. Initially, it was intended to sell small, semi-handcrafted poetry books on the street, but it ended up developing an updated form of Realism to correct the idealistic excesses of Modernism.
