Havana, 1946. He has published the novels ‘Mariel’ (1997), ‘Las penas de la joven Lila’ (2004), ‘Guanabo gay’ (2004), and ‘Diarios para Stefan Zweig’ (2023), as well as the short story collections ‘Erótica’ (1988), ‘Cuentos’ (2008), ‘Por sí o por no’ (2013), and ‘Delusions’ (2018). His stories and essays have been translated and published in Europe, Latin America, and the United States.
