Luis Felipe Rojas

San Germán (Cuba), 1971. Studied Philology and Theater. Poet, journalist, and fiction writer. Worked as a correspondent for Voice of America in Miami between 2019 and 2025, and for Radio Martí and Martí Noticias since arriving in exile in 2012. He worked as an independent journalist in Cuba for ten years, writing for media outlets such as Encuentro En la Red and Diario de Cuba until 2012. In Cuba, he published the poetry collections ‘Secretos del monje Louis’ (2001), ‘Animal de alcantarilla’ (2005), ‘Cantos del malvivir’ (2005), ‘Anverso de la bestia amada’ (2006), ‘Para dar de comer al perro de pelea’ (2013), and the short story collections ‘Máquina para borrar humanidades’ (2015), and ‘Artefactos’ (2021).
