Santiago de Cuba, 1970. ‘Miracle Mile’, his first book of poetry, was published by Casa Vacía in 2021. ‘Mandorla‘ was published by the same publisher in 2023. His collection of short stories, ‘P’ (Ediciones Furtivas, 2020), won the silver award at the Florida Books Awards that same year. He has published three other books of fiction: ‘No nací en Castalia’ (Editorial Silueta, 2016), ‘El maestro en el cuerpo’ (Miami, 2010), and ‘Procesión lejos de Bretaña’ (Editorial Letras Cubanas, 2000). ‘En el nombre de la rusa’ was published by Bokeh in 2025. His texts have been translated into English, Italian, and Portuguese. His articles and reviews can be found in various publications and anthologies. He has lived in Miami since 2006.
